Inspirations
A view into the small moments that inspire me to create artwork. places, ideas, characters. These are some source images that have inspired my explorations in the visual arts.
Tucson, the dry heat cultural oasis of southern Arizona. My home for the last quarter century.
We affectionately call ourselves desert rats as we endure endless furnace hot summers and rejoice in our enviable winters. Tucsonans are connected to the light of the sky, the shrieking white hot sun of midday, the psychedelic sunsets and clear bright celestial nights.
Florence Italy, My husband’s home.
A place we lived in the late 90’s and visit often. Who doesn’t love Italy? Universally seen as a beautiful place, I focus on the less traveled spaces. A familiar corner for locals to shortcut around crowds of tourists, a quiet moment in a town full of outstanding beauty and excess.
